It sounds like you have a good plan. I'm a big proponent of getting how you think out there. Even if "the right people" aren't reading now, they may be later. Having a wealth of content for them to read means they'll have a good idea of what you're like.

And on a personal note, I'll get to have more regular updates from you. :)
